Here at James Dawson Furniture I make individually designed, high quality furniture using the full range of English hardwoods including oak, ash, elm, cherry and yew. Clean design lines, the use of environmentally sustainable materials from nearby sources, and traditional craftsmanship and finishes result in heritage quality furniture of great character.

Each project is handled as a completely bespoke commission and is hand-made to order. Before the work starts, I spend time with each client to develop ideas and designs and to finalise the choice of wood and finish.

I work for private individuals; architects and designers; and Local Government departments.

I also specialise in the remaking and restoration of much-loved wooden furniture.
